Our story
Started by Gavin Warner from a Merthyr Tydfil workshop — Future Remapping grew out of frustration with cheap, copy-paste remaps damaging engines, voiding warranties and ruining MPG. We do it the way it should be done.
Daily commuters chasing real-world MPG, tradespeople running vans down to Cardiff and Bristol every day, farmers and contractors getting more out of tractors and pickups, and enthusiasts who want a properly calibrated Stage 1 or Stage 2 file — not a generic download.
ECU remapping (Stage 1 and Stage 2), full diagnostic-led tuning, DPF / EGR / AdBlue work, engine management light removal, and dedicated truck, tractor and plant calibration. One discipline, done properly — not a general garage that 'also does remaps'.

Mission & standards
We treat every car like it's about to do another 100,000 miles — because most of them will. That shapes everything: the diagnostic we run first, the file we load, the road-test we do after, and the records we keep.
Every file is tested on the exact engine/gearbox combination before it's written. No shared, untested 'master files'. We document ECU serial, mileage and file checksum on every job.
Diagnostic first, calibration second. If your engine has an underlying mechanical or sensor fault, a remap won't fix it — and we'll tell you before any file change. We won't tune a vehicle we don't believe in.
Stock file backed up before any change, archived against your ECU's serial number. Reloadable in around 30 minutes if you sell the vehicle, need warranty work, or simply change your mind.
Fixed prices quoted by registration before the job. No surprise add-ons on the day. No callout fee inside our standard South Wales coverage.
